More About Natasha.
Hi, I’m Natasha Mata, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with clinical experience since 2016. I’ve worked across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth settings, supporting adults through a wide range of mental health concerns.
I founded Dynamic Counseling Solutions to reflect the creative energy and forward movement I bring to the therapy process. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I focus on personalized care at every stage of your journey.
Working Together
Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions. I also enjoy supporting people who are seeking personal growth and a deeper sense of connection to themselves and others.
I’m especially passionate about working with individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, people from diverse cultural or ethnic backgrounds, and anyone who has felt “othered.” My goal is to create a space where your identity and lived experiences are met with the care and respect they deserve.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach is integrative, evidence-based, and personalized. I tailor therapy to your unique values and goals so that our work feels collaborative and meaningful to you.
In our work together, I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, and experiential therapy, using these tools to help you understand your patterns, build new skills, and feel more grounded day-to-day. These approaches can help towards achieving greater clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.
What Therapy With Me Feels Like
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My goal is to create a space rooted in trust, empathy, and respect, where you feel safe enough to show up honestly and fully as yourself.
If spirituality or organized religion is meaningful to you, we can incorporate that into our work in a way that feels supportive and aligned with your beliefs. I approach that part of therapy with deep respect towards your personal faith.
A Little More About Me
Having been on the receiving end of therapy at different points in my life, I understand firsthand how vulnerable this process can feel. I also know how powerful it can be to feel supported, understood, and challenged in ways that lead to real growth.
Outside of my work, I find joy in art, creativity, reading, and spending time in nature. I’m also a proud dog mom to my Australian Shepherd, Karma, and I value spirituality, family, and community as important anchors in my life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will support you in moving forward with intention, I’d be honored to connect with you.
